At KBF, we recognize that the Bible teaches that all people have certain gifts and abilities, and believe that everyone should have a chance to serve in a variety of ways. To participate in one of our ministries you don't need any special training, though if you do have a special skill we would be excited to hear about it. We encourage you to join a ministry team. It's a great way to meet people, make friends, and serve others. If you have any questions, please contact us at email@example.com.
Below is a list of all current active ministries at KBF.
KBF Hiking arranges regular hiking events to scenic and interesting locations in the Kansai area. Hiking together is a great opportunity to get to know one another as we walk, talk and enjoy the hiking courses. KBF Hiking is open to everyone, so please join us next time and feel free to invite your friends and family.
The Hospitality ministry helps to make KBF a warm and welcoming place to meet, fellowship, and strengthen relationships while eating together. There are many ways to be a part of the Hospitality ministry, so even if you don't consider yourself a good chef, you can still be involved and enjoy being a part of a team. Please talk to one of the staff at KBF if you would like more information about how you can be involved.
The KBF Hula Team offers praises to God through worship dancing. We value our friendship with each other in the group and practice with much joy and smiles. As we dance, we always hope and pray that God's love will overflow into the hearts of the viewers.
KBF Interpretation ministry team is dedicated to serve among the international church community that enjoys oneness within diversity by communicating God’s heart and love through bilingual interpretation (English and Japanese.) God's word is alive! It’s a great joy and privilege for the team to work with pastors and worship leaders to communicate God's living word in weekly services, and the team is always ready to serve in different capacities according to the needs.
The children's ministry, or KBF Kids as we call it, is dedicated to serving God's children and providing Christ-centered teaching. We offer two classes for preschoolers (Lamb Class) and elementary students (Lion Class). As we pray now for revival and for many thousands to come to know Christ, we are preparing the next generation of many thousands to strengthen and lead the church in the years ahead.
P4K stands for "Pray for Kobe". It started on 9/11 and we meet for prayer every Tuesday from 2:30pm in the Fellowship Room. We pray for individual prayer requests and for those around us, for the ongoing ministry of the church, and that the gospel of Christ may flow out from Kobe to Kansai to all of Japan.
The KBF Welcome Team joyfully welcomes you at the entrance. We believe God has chosen YOU to come to KBF for His special purposes. We share our joys and smiles with both regular attendees and new comers to celebrate Jesus together here. May you experience God even if it's your very first visit with us.
